Firmware Update

Firmware Version 1.90 is now available.

This firmware update addresses the following issues:

• Fixes an issue cause the camera to freeze when using the self-timer.
• Improves the autofocus performance in low-light conditions.
• Fixes an issue that cause the camera to display a black screen when using the viewfinder.

To update the firmware, please follow these instructions:

1. Download the firmware update file from Canon website.
2. Extract the downloaded file to a folder on your computer.
3. Copy the extracted files to a memory card that has been formatted in the camera.
4. Insert the memory card into the camera's card slot.
5. Turn on the camera and navigate to the Firmware Update menu.
6. Select the firmware update file and press the OK button.
7. The camera will begin the firmware update process.
8. Once the update is complete, the camera will turn off automatically.
9. Remove the memory card from the camera and format it.
