**Humboldt Seeks Government Funding for $35 Million Broncos Tribute Centre** The Humboldt Broncos Memorials Committee has unveiled plans to construct a $35 million tribute centre honoring the victims of the tragic bus crash in 2018. The committee is currently seeking government funding to support the project. Under the newly formed Humboldt Broncos Memorial Fund Inc., funds will be disbursed through a committee comprising Broncos Board members and Humboldt Public Art committee members. The city of Humboldt has also pledged support for the initiative. The proposed tribute centre will provide a permanent memorial for the 16 players and staff who lost their lives in the crash. It will also serve as an educational and community gathering space. The committee has been evaluating innovative opportunities to enhance the project, including interactive displays and immersive experiences. The centre will be located on the site of the crash near Humboldt, Saskatchewan. The unveiling of the centre's plans comes as the city of Humboldt marks the third anniversary of the tragedy. The committee hopes to secure government funding to begin construction as soon as possible.
